5 of 5 Superb Safety Device May 13, 2020
Reviewer: Steve Crawley from Delaware
This is, by far, my best “no regrets” bicycle accessory purchase. I had a helmet mounted rear view mirror but was alway fiddling with it to keep a proper field of view. It was a major distraction. I also have fused vertebrae in my neck so, turning to look behind is not easy. This radar was a huge improvement. While keeping my eyes on the road ahead, I can now see vehicles coming from behind for up to ~150 yds. I alerts on cars and motorcycles without fail.

I have three suggested improvements. 1) when a car slows to pace you because they cannot pass for some reason, they disappear from the bike computer screen. 2) my hearing is not good in the higher frequency ranges. I cannot hear the audio alert at all. I have it paired with a Garmin 810 so, the visual indicator works fine for me. 3) I wish the LED light was brighter. I have the 1st generation so these concerns may have been addressed. with gen2.

Overall, I highly recommended this device for the road rider.
