Marin Pine Mountain E1 Mountain E-Bike: The Pine Mountain E enables
adventures that you never believed were possible on two wheels. Powerful
Shimano STEPS electric drive units are paired with adventure-seeking
CrMo Steel frames with burly 120mm travel suspension forks and 27.5+
tires, yielding bikes that can climb like billy goats and handle with
chutzpah, even while weighed down with gear and supplies. Take it out
for some hours of great trail fun, or load it up and head out for an
overnight at your favorite nearby peak, the Pine Mountain Electric is
ready to be your next adventure travel buddy.
Shimano’s STEPS
system is both powerful and lightweight, with the mid-drive motor down
low to help ensure that the Pine Mountain E performs like typical
mountain bikes, but with a 250W boost. Three levels of power give riders
options to balance electric power, speed and range. Electric assist up
to 20mph in the US, 25km/h in Europe.
Pine Mountain E models are
spec’d with wide-range, performance-oriented drivetrains, rated for
ebike duty for optimum power delivery and reliability.
Series 3
double butted and heat treated CrMo frames are designed specifically for
ebike duty, with a cast motor mount, custom cast dropouts, 148x12mm
Boost rear spacing, and plentiful bottle and gear mounts.
Pine
Mountain E Geometry is a mix between agility for trail riding, and
all-day comfort for bikepacking. A 66° head angle makes for confident
steering, with or without the weight of gear.
