Union Sport Harz MXSE Saddle 155: Union Sport saddles utilize a combination of systems engineered to react to a range of rider weights and seating positions to effectively read the uneven pressure conditions imparted by the rider and dynamically normalize them providing each pressure range just the right support it needs. The result is a saddle feel that is comfortable, reactive and without hot spots and pressure points.

Select Union Sport models feature our proprietary Double Pivot System. A honeycomb array of reliefs are integrated directly into the saddle shell increasing it’s flexibility and suppleness directly under the sit bones. A multi-density layered system of gel and closed cell padding work in conjunction with the shell creating a system that is supportive, comfortable and in sync with the rider.

Simply put, our precision mesh is a woven matrix of composite fibers designed to flex in areas where it’s needed while being resilient in areas where it’s not. Using Precision Mesh, we can finely tune the feel of our saddles which maintaining the lightweight and integrity of a one-piece shell.

Klammer is a unique wing system that provides tactile feedback to a rider in circumstances when power needs to be applied in a seated position. The Klammer system lets the rider feel the rear edge of the saddle and offers a surface for which the rider can leverage yet does not inhibit the familiar motion of standing, descending or dismounting.

Union Sport saddles have been engineered to be more efficient at transferring power applied by the rider to the wheels. We have analyzed rider dynamics and have developed our Griff Technology which allows the rider to capture energy typically lost due to inefficient movement on the saddle. Through rider movement itself, Griff Technology actively transforms the entire saddle surface into a brace that the rider can utilize when they need to dig deep yet maintains an ease of movement for when the rider needs to adjust body position.

Our saddles consider the rider first. We design each model with features that are compatible with a variety of body shapes, sizes and flexibility. Varying width shells, flat and scooped decks and engineered support systems optimize performance, energy transfer and comfort.
